Green Dove Embroidered Applique Pillow

Two cream felt doves cross in the same direction over a sage and cream check, each one edged in hand-look stitching and carrying an embroidered leafy branch, with a small gold beak leading the way. The cotton is yarn-dyed, so the check runs through the weave rather than sitting on top of it, and a contrast piped edge finishes the seam. At 6 inches by 12 inches this is a lumbar size, which puts it on a reading chair, a bench in the entry, or against the sleeping pillows in a guest room.
