The child who names every animal in her picture books deserves a friend with a story, and Tusk comes with one: slate-blue corduroy dungarees with hand-stitched patches, each one a sign of an adventure behind him. Wide cream ears and a long stitched trunk give him a face she will study for a long time.

He is a Bukowski elephant, dressed in a striped jumper and striped socks, with a cobalt hat, mittens and shoes finishing the look from head to toe. Tusk believes the best things in life are a little bit mended and a whole lot loved, and his patches tell the rest.
