Vintage Desk Storybox

This box depicts a vintage era desktop, complete with old cathedral-style radio, inkwell, plume pen and a lamp with a beaded fringe shade. The red wax seal on the tiny envelope has been broken and its contents, a love letter, has been placed under a magnifying glass. Length: 2.25" Width: 1" Height: 2.75" Sweet Romance Story boxes are designed by artist and historian Shelley Cooper. Each box is a vignette of amazingly detailed small-scale miniatures, sculptured, painted and ornamented by hand. Each box is assembled, one at a time in our Los Angeles studio.
