A flat stoneware angel in speckled cream, drawn over with fine black lines that sketch her wings, her halo and the snowflakes falling down the front of her gown. She measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches, large enough to read from across the room on a tree, a garland or a kitchen cabinet knob. A length of twine is knotted through the top and finished with a small bow. Give this ornament to a grandmother, tie it to the top of a wrapped box, or keep it out past Christmas as a quiet winter piece. Mud Pie paints the stoneware by hand.
