Small ivory velvet bows are tacked across a deep red crochet square, close enough together that this pot holder reads as decoration when it hangs on the oven handle. It measures 8 inches by 8 inches with a loop at one corner, worked from a soft blend of 86 percent cotton and 14 percent rayon. Keep it on the oven handle through December where the bows show. Mud Pie asks that it be spot cleaned only, so treat this as the pretty one and keep a plain holder for the messy work.
