A red cardinal settles in for the season, its resin body molded with a wicker-style weave and finished with a plaid ribbon bow and a small gold bell at the neck. The included glass votive nests into the well on its back, so one small bird throws a soft pool of light across a mantel, a windowsill or the center of a set table. The cardinal stands 4 1/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches and the votive measures 2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches across, small enough to tuck among greenery and steady enough to leave out all winter. Mud Pie built the pair to be kept together year after year.
