This handmade Orla Kiely Scribble Stem lampshade filters ambient light through a coordinated palette of duck egg blue, olive green, mustard yellow, moss, and authentic seagrass, delivering immediate botanical refinement to any table or floor fixture. Crafted with a single vertical seam and neatly rolled edges, each piece carries the subtle irregularities inherent to artisan textile weaving. Because the recurring stem pattern is printed across wide fabric spans, minor seam offset is normal and indicates genuine hand production rather than factory repetition.

Installation begins immediately upon arrival. Every unit ships with a standard nickel spider clamp engineered for a 1⁄2 inch recess, allowing it to seat securely onto nearly any conventional harp and finial base. If your existing lamp utilizes an alternative socket, request an Euro/Nord mount (1 9⁄16 inch center diameter), a Uno fixture (1 7⁄16 inch center diameter), or a clip‑on bracket for arms up to 8 inches wide. Indicate whether your bulb points upward or downward during checkout so the attachment hardware aligns correctly.

The interior coating directly dictates your illumination profile. White PVC styrene lining delivers maximum brightness and allows daylight tones to pass clearly through the woven textile. Selecting gold, copper, or silver introduces a reflective metallic layer that blocks direct transmission while casting a rich, decorative glow from the top and bottom brackets. All interior finishes are flame‑retardant and tested to applicable safety standards. To preserve the handcrafted exterior and prevent premature wear, operate the fixture with a low‑wattage or LED bulb.

Choose your exact silhouette when ordering. Drum styles feature identical top and bottom measurements for a streamlined, contemporary silhouette, with cut sizes spanning from 6 inches up to 12 inches. Fabric panel width limits dictate which diameters are currently stocked, so select your target span at checkout to guarantee proper pattern continuity. This listing applies to the lampshade exclusively; all mounting hardware, glass shades, and lamp frames remain separate.
