The grocery run before the big Christmas dinner gets its own page here, topped with Pa-Rum-Pum-Pum-Pum in blue script and Holiday List in red capitals. Two nutcrackers in red and green plaid coats stand at the sides, one in a green hat and trousers and the other in blue, with ornaments gathered at their boots and a red lattice band along the foot of the page.

The open space in the middle takes the menu, the shopping list and the guest names. Jot the cranberries, the rolls and the head count, then tear off the sheet and carry it to the store. Both nutcrackers are hand painted artwork from Rosanne Beck Collections.
