The whole scene sits between two clear acrylic plaques: the stable, the star, Mary and Joseph over the manger, shepherds with their sheep, the three kings and angels overhead, printed softly on recycled pulp paper. Magnets hold the plaques together and a grosgrain ribbon ties at the top for hanging. The acrylic guards the artwork through the tree lights and the years in the storage box, so this ornament reads more like a small framed print than a trinket. Mud Pie lists it at 8 by 4 inches. Mud Pie made it for the family that sets the nativity out first, and it carries weight as a gift for a godparent or a first Christmas.
