Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Greeting Card

Your co-cook handles the gravy while you handle the potatoes, and the front of this card puts the two of you on one plate. After years of Thanksgivings the rhythm is easy: you mash, they whisk, and the plates go out together. Each job goes faster with the other person standing beside it.

Tuck it beside the potato masher, where they will find it when they reach for the ladle. Cream lettering on a deep brown ground says WE ARE LIKE MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY, and an orange bowl of potatoes and an orange gravy boat sit between the words. Design Design saves the punchline for inside.

• Front: “WE ARE LIKE MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY”
• Inside message: “One just doesn’t work without the other. Happy Thanksgiving!”
• Front art: orange bowl and gravy boat on brown with oak leaves and acorns
