A little green mailbox waiting on the most important letter of the year. The door on the front of this tin ornament works, so a folded wish list or a note to a grandchild can ride inside it on the tree. A cotton cord loop is attached, which means it hangs from a branch, a wreath, a garland or a cabinet knob with no extra hardware. It measures 3 by 3 1/2 inches, small enough for the front of the tree where small hands can reach. Mud Pie finishes this ornament in green, and it is a natural first ornament for a child old enough to write to Santa.
