A bundle of these stems tied with ribbon turns the stair rail into the first sign of Christmas in the house. Small silver beads dot the glittered green sprigs like a scattering of frost, and a red or cream ribbon around the bunch sets off the sparkle.

Gather three or four stems, wrap the ribbon around the bunch and finish it with a bow where it meets the rail. K&K Interiors makes this slim stem from plastic and foam, with silver beads along its branches.
