Six snowflakes worked in gold lurex thread drift across a plain white cotton hand towel, each one branched and open enough to read from across the room. Gold twill ric-rac runs along the bottom and finishes the hem. At 26" x 16 1/2" the towel is long enough to fold in thirds over an oven door or hang from a powder room ring, and metallic thread carries a shine that a printed towel cannot. Mud Pie pitched this one at brass, cream and evergreen rather than red and green, so it holds a table set for New Year's dinner as easily as Christmas morning. Spot clean only. Roll two together with a bar of soap for a hostess.
