The stable is drawn in soft watercolor on this square ornament: Mary and Joseph either side of the manger, a gold star overhead and a run of greenery across the roofline. The painted recycled pulp paper is mounted on a gold acrylic square, 4 inches by 4 inches, and an ivory satin ribbon bow is tied through the top. Give it its own branch near eye level so the small scene can be read, or prop it on a shelf beside the Advent candles. From Mud Pie, it is the ornament people buy for a first Christmas, a baptism year, or a grandmother who keeps the nativity out all season.
