Gold and white suits nearly every tree, flocked or fir, formal or relaxed, and this ornament brings real texture to the pairing instead of a flat coat of color. The upper half is a crown of gold leaves, heaped at the top with sequins and beads, and below it the white glass is ribbed all the way to the base so the light runs down it in fine lines. Kurt S. Adler, Inc. gives it two shapes that look deliberate hung side by side. Choose the drop or the ball for a wreath, a garland, the bow on a wrapped present, or a hostess whose home is dressed in neutrals.

Each item sold separately. Each order includes one in your selected design.

• Drop: long and tapered, the leaves reaching halfway down before the ribbing takes over
• Ball: round and full, gold leaves spread across its upper half
• Glass, gold and white with a shimmering finish, gold cap and hanger
