Start a train on the top branch and let it run down the tree, because that is the trick that makes children stop and look. Each car is a gingerbread carriage with iced windows, a candy cane door and peppermint candy wheels, and each carries something different on its roof. Kurt S. Adler, Inc. sells the cars separately so a family can add one a year and watch the train grow. A good gift for a grandchild, a first tree or a grandmother who hosts.

Each item sold separately. Each order includes one in your selected design.

• Icing Swirl: a tall swirl of white icing topped with a peppermint
• Christmas Tree: a decorated tree on the roof under a gold star
• Gift Box: a roof wrapped like a present with a green bow
• Iced windows, peppermint wheels, red ribbon hanger
