Dear Santa Cookie Plate with Milk Carton

Santa's face is molded right into this stoneware plate, the beard sculpted in relief beneath a tartan hat brim, with a hand-lettered note running along the rim. The matching milk carton is stoneware as well, shaped like a small wrapped parcel with a red ribbon and bow raised on its sides and a green velvet ribbon tied over the top. The plate measures 6 1/2 inches across and the carton stands 4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. Put them out on Christmas Eve with three cookies and a splash of milk. Mud Pie built both pieces from stoneware, so the pair comes back out year after year and turns into a family habit.
