Crowned Swan Embroidered Hand Towel

A swan in a small gold crown glides across the front of this 21" x 14" hand towel, embroidered in raised white thread with green sprigs curving around her and a red velvet bow stitched on so it stands away from the cloth. The bottom edge is hemstitched, the open border that tells you a towel was finished properly. Hang it in the powder room through December, or fold it over a tray with soap and a candle for a guest room. Mud Pie left the ground plain white so the embroidery carries the whole piece. Hand wash only, line dry, and press from the reverse. A graceful gift for the friend whose holiday palette is white on white.
