When the cinnamon rolls come out on Christmas morning, this crocheted pot holder is the one hanging within reach. A green tree with scalloped tiers rises from a cream square, a yellow crocheted star on top and little gold-finish beads scattered down the branches, so the oven door gets a bit of the season too.

Creative Co-Op makes it from cotton with a green crocheted border and a loop in the corner for hanging on a hook. The stitches give the cook a textured grip, and the tree is easy to spot among the other kitchen linens when a hot pan needs a quick grab.
