A small drift of white, silver and gold beads forms every branch of the tree on this pillow, with a strand of beads looping down like a garland. The oatmeal ground keeps the colors soft, and a gold piped edge frames the whole square.

Cotton with a touch of lurex, from K&K Interiors, gives the fabric a faint shimmer. When the weather turns, trade your everyday cushion for this one, and the beads catch the gray window light. Wrap it for a mother who has a favorite reading chair, and she will want it there the same day.
