Red and green stripes run down the outside of this hand-painted stoneware bowl, and a small Christmas tree with a red star on top rises from the middle of it, molded as part of the piece rather than added on. The bowl stands 2 1/2 inches tall and measures 4 1/2 inches across, sized for peppermints, pistachios or the foil-wrapped chocolates that live on a coffee table in December. A 4 inch wooden spoon comes with it. Set it by the door for guests, or fill it and hand it over as a hostess gift that stays behind once the candy is gone. Mud Pie glazed the inside cream with a red rim.
