A short spreader with a brass plated stainless steel blade and a hand-painted candy cane for a handle, striped in red and white and finished with a pink bow across the front. It measures 5 1/2 inches end to end, the right length for a small board of soft cheese, a bowl of whipped honey butter, or a jar of pepper jelly beside the crackers. Set one at each end of the appetizer board and the tray looks finished before a single guest arrives. Hand wash only. Mud Pie ships it on a kraft card, so it can go straight into a basket with cheese and a box of crackers for the neighbor who hosts every year.
