The dove on the front of this mini pillow is worked in pearls, seed beads and pale sequins, wings spread wide across a soft chambray ground. At 8 inches square it is the pillow that finishes a stack rather than starting one, tucked against a larger cushion on the sofa, propped in a reading chair or set at the head of a guest bed. Mud Pie backs it in canvas and fills it with polyester, so it holds its shape through a long season of company. The turtle dove is a Christmas motif, which makes this an easy December gift for a friend who decorates in neutrals.
