A lantern in distressed antique gold is the holiday piece that stays out until spring. Clean lines and glass panels let a candle, a string of lights, or a pile of ornaments glow through, and the door on the short side opens for easy filling. Choose the small at 15.5 inches for a console or the large at 24.5 inches for a covered porch or a hearth, and give one filled with greenery to the host who deserves more than a bottle. By Kalalou.
