This 8.5-inch battery-operated water lantern pairs a vintage television silhouette with dynamic holiday lighting for a cord-free tabletop display.

The unit centers on a retro-style cabinet topped with antennas, enclosing a clear screen that depicts Santa’s toy-laden sleigh parked beside a miniature snowy Christmas tree. When activated, warm white LED illumination washes across the diorama while a dedicated spotlight focuses on the decorative evergreen. Fresh water inside the sealed base creates gentle ripples that catch the glow, and an internal mechanism spins clear glitter particles to produce a continuous snowfall effect. The same control switch plays assorted traditional Christmas melodies, blending kinetic visuals with familiar audio.

Manufactured by Kurt Adler, the lantern integrates protected circuitry and sealed compartments engineered specifically for repeated seasonal deployment. Measuring 8.5 inches tall, the television form factor occupies minimal surface area, fitting securely on mantelpieces, bookshelves, entryway tables, and windowsills without crowding adjacent ornaments. Battery operation eliminates wire routing entirely, allowing placement in tight corners or behind denser arrangements where an outlet is unavailable. Once evening falls, the circulated water column diffuses the internal LEDs into a steady, low-intensity luminescence that extends visibility and doubles the piece as a themed decorative night light.
